Fullbright scholar, Jolyda Sou joined MSP in late 2018 as an Investment Analyst. Prior to joining MSP, Jolyda worked in a private consulting firm in Washington, D.C., during which she managed Entrepreneurship Programs in the Lower Mekong Region and in North America, Trade and Investment Initiatives in West Africa for USAID, and projects on Generating Investment and Business Enabling Environment in developing countries.
Jolyda previously worked in the Public Procurement’s Head Office, Ministry of Economy and Finance, to assist the Director General of Public Procurement and ADB’s international consultants with the implementation of the Public Financial Management Reform Program (PFMRP). She also enforced efficient public procurement process and ensured regulatory compliance at a national level.
Jolyda is also experienced in capacity building and youth engagement. She provided professional consulting services to students at Tufts University. She founded Project Inspire in 2016 to organize social events, produce edutainment content and offer training programs for graduate students and young professionals. Jolyda was awarded Tufts University’s Honos Civicus Society for her community services and civic engagement.
Jolyda is residing in Phnom Penh after her Fulbright Program in Boston at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University for a MA in Strategic Management and International Consultancy and a Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program (PON) at Harvard Law School. She has a BA in Finance & Banking at National University of Management and a BA in Education, TEFL, at Royal University of Phnom Penh.
