Yohann joined MSP in 2018 as a Senior Finance Advisor. Based out of Bangkok Thailand office, Yohann leads MSP's work for the South East Asian regional financing initiative USAID Green Invest Asia. Yohann is the financing lead on this climate financing initiative with a target of arranging USD 400M of investment into climate smart agricultural and forestry projects, and a target of 25M tons of CO2 reduced, avoided or sequestered by 2022.

Yohann has extensive experience advising banks, insurance companies, microfinance institutions, and development finance institutions in over 15 countries in Africa and Asia. His areas of expertise are agricultural finance, renewable energy finance and MSME finance. Prior to joining MSP, Yohann lived in Cambodia for one and a half years, working as a team leader on a technical assistance project with a local commercial bank in the areas of SME lending, environmental and social management, and risk management. Yohann also worked as a long term consultant for UNDCF in the Asia region on agricultural value chain financing, renewable energy finance, and financial inclusion projects.

Before coming to Cambodia, Yohann spent five years in Nepal working as freelance finance consultant on technical assistance projects, primarily with banks and microfinance institutions. He participated in designing the national multi-donor Nepal Rural Renewable Energy Program and drafted the business plan of the National Renewable Energy Fund. He provided technical assistance to UNCDF to develop and extend microfinance products for renewable energy, and supported UNCDF in the implementation of a large agricultural finance program.

From 2006 to 2011, Yohann was based in the Netherlands and worked as consultant for Enclude, a Dutch-American advisory firm in the area of sustainable business and financial services in emerging countries.  He conducted assignments in Africa and Asia for leading development agencies such as the World Bank, IFC, EBRD, OECD, KfW, DANIDA, and the AFD.
